Holy
Communion is an expression of God’s love for his people and his practical way
of giving his people life, for ‘Jesus said, "very truly I tell you, unless
you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in
you (John 6:53). Therefore, Catholics
believe that through the reception of Holy Communion Christ dwells in us and we
are nourished and strengthened in our daily lives with his presence.
As
our Catholic Identity, nine of our students: Jamaria E., Alex H., Ryan J.,
Alaiya P., Areyana S., Keiara T., Autumn W., Darren W., and Kiriana W, had the joy of being baptized and/or making
their First Holy Communion on May 10, 2015 (Mother’s Day) at St. Kilian
Catholic Church. It was a special and memorable
day in their Christian lives and as Catholics.
As
we congratulate them, we encourage them to constantly have the desire to please
our Lord in their daily lives.
Once again, Congratulations!
