October is “Breast Cancer Awareness” month. To show our support, the students, faculty and staff wore pink every Friday. The student council sold pink bracelets, rings, buttons, pins and ribbons. The proceeds from the sale will be presented to the Breast Cancer Clinic of Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn.
Members of our school family and personal families have been affected by breast cancer. This is the student council’s way of making students aware of the necessity and money needed to help find a cure.
