Science: AN EYE-OPENING LAB EXPERIENCE!

From Ms. Finn, Science teacher

The 8th grade class completed a unit on life science with a fascinating close-up look at a cow's eye.  Thanks to recent additions/improvements to our lab, each student had their own dissecting kit to use as they systematically uncovered the layers of tissues and structures of the eye.  After the initial nervousness of handling a cow's eye wore off, students delved in with excitement and a sense of wonder at the great complexity of this one small organ that is part of the miracle of life.
