2nd Grade Inventions

by Sister Sheena, 2nd Grade teacher

Our invention

Second grade did a project that was about inventions. It was in our reading program. The purpose of this project was to study how can we invent without any cost. The students made different models and demonstrated them in class. It was a lot of fun!

Some of the students and their inventions are shown below. We asked each student to describe their invention.

Dakarai - "An ocean. Everybody wants me to shake it up."

Quentoria - "Pencil holder. You can put the pencils in and hang it up"
...

Darren - "Bowling numbers.
You roll up tin foil, and I made bottles with numbers on them. And then we roll it."

Lineal - "A chocolate maker. You put the ingredients in the and it comes out from the top."
...
...

Laila - "A doggy car seat and bed. That's my dog. My real dog is a Maltese."

Thank you 2nd grade and Sister Sheena.
Great job!
