The haiku that D'Asja wrote and submitted won the "Poems of the World Summer" Award, which includes a $50 prize!

Art is amazing
Like the freedom of summer
Art brings warmth in me

Blog: Why did you enter the haiku contest?
D'Asja: To be honest... I wanted to win the prize!
Blog: What was the inspiration for your haiku?
D'Asja: I focused on art because my cousin draws.
Blog: Where will you be going to high school next year?
D'Asja: I'll be attending Noble Auburn Gresham College Prep.
Blog: And I assume you'll be a writer or artist or something like that when you grow up, right?Congratulations to D'Asja C and thank you to her teacher Mrs. Pass (both pictured below) for this wonderful story.
